Management of urolithiasis is progressively becoming a complex sub-specialty in the urology field. The goal for the modem endourologist is looking astone free operation, absence of complications and maximum comfort for the patient. This requires the perfect knowledge of al/ instruments ava i/ab/e associated with the ability of adapting persona/ technique with patient and stone's characteristics. Furthermore, it is mandatory to have an adequate knowledge of al/ conditions causing stone formation, how to diagnose and prevent them. The project Donatello wants to offer to trainees a comprehensive/intense course in the field of stone treatment which, we believe, is becoming fundamental for al/ urologists with interest in this sub-specialty. This course is addressed to trainees at third year of Specialty training, it is three days long alternating lectures, hands-on on dry /ab, live and semi-live sessions. At the end of the course, a proficiency questionnaire wi/1 be performed. The trainee with the best result wi/1 be offered a subsequent training opportunity.
